Preparation
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until fully browned, about 7-10 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the marinara sauce and mix.
- In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with half of the grated Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer the meat sauce, followed by lasagna noodles, half of the cheese mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat until ingredients are used.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, add remaining mozzarella, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
